Open since 1987, Sevilla began as a small tapas bar and quickly became a popular Spanish restaurant. Sevilla is located in the heart of downtown historic Riverside just blocks away from the landmark Mission Inn. Several years after opening the restaurant, owners decided to open a dance club to showcase the art of Flamenco dancing. Today, all three of these eclectic elements of a tapas bar, restaurant and night club are in full swing as patrons flock to Sevilla daily.
The Spanish cuisine and ambiance at Sevilla has made it a favorite hot spot for Riverside locals and tourists for more than 20 years. Sevilla is housed in a large and airy historic building that has been beautifully renovated and decorated, adding to the authentic Spanish experience.
In the tapas bar, enjoy happy hour every day from 4:30-6:30 p.m. with half price appetizers, $4 drink specials and $3 wells and draft beer. Then, on Friday and Saturday evening, Sevilla offers a Flamenco Dinner Show where guests can enjoy a three-course meal while enjoying the show. Advanced ticket purchase is required. Finally, join Sevilla on Sunday morning and enjoy a brunch buffet featuring lobster eggs Benedict, French toast, omelets, crepes, mimosa and unlimited champagne.
The dinner menu at Sevilla offers an expansive range of traditional Spanish cuisine including paella, empanadas, brochette and tapitas. The traditional paella is made with Bomba rice, saffron spices, mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, scallops, chicken and chorizo sausage. Or try the oven baked seafood empanada Barcelona—a puff pastry filled with salmon mousse, shrimp, sautéed spinach, rice, raisins, pine nuts and served with a sweet and tart cranberry port sauce.
